SAFE CLEANING MATTERS

Safe Cleaning Matters: Safe Work Practices for Cleaners is an innovative training resource designed for cleaners in the commercial cleaning sector.

It includes information about:

Responsibilities – employer’s, property owner’s and cleaner’s responsibilities
Personal safety – hazard and risk identification, PPE, working alone
Manual handling – safe work methods, using equipment
Using tools and equipment – electrical safety, working at heights
Hazardous substances – MSDS, using and storing chemicals, cross contamination

This Training Manual support training in several elements within the units of competency form CPPO7 Property Services Training Package, including

Prepare for work in the cleaning industry
Apply basic communication skills
Maintain cleaning storage areas

All Powercorp Cleaning Attendants are issued a Training Manual through there Company Induction process which also includes a DVD format.

FIRST AID & MFB WARDEN CERTIFICATES

All Powercorp Property Services Cleaning Attendants hold level 2 First Aid Certificate & MFB Fire Warden Certificates.
